Handyman Service - The Handyman Ministry is a free service specializing in odd jobs & repairs for the old & invalided. Ring Peter McTaggart on 0413 534 860 & we can see if we can give you a hand. 

The Handyman Ministry is part of Parish Family Ministry. We started out in January 2001 with a mission to do small household jobs for those unable to do so themselves. So far we have completed ten jobs for parishioners.

Handyman Ministry is a free service for aged or invalid persons only. This restriction has been placed upon us by Family Ministry under whose umbrella we operate. We are there to give a hand to those who cannot do it for themselves for those particular reasons. Regrettably, that means that if you are young & fit you will have to do your own handyman work.

 There is also a restriction on the type of work we can undertake. Generally we are looking to do little tasks that can be completed in a couple of hours without the need for special licences, & with a minimum of materials required. All materials must be paid for by the person requesting the service & we are restricted to a maximum value of $20 worth of materials that we can purchase on the persons behalf.

We are being under utilized. We are sure that many people must fit within our operating constraints but probably don't know we are there.
